Personally identifying information

Visitors to our website may voluntarily opt to share their personal data to register for our ISPI EMEA annual conference. The personal information that we do maintain is in a secure database separate from our website.  Below is the information that we collect, for the purpose of communicating with our members and those who participate in BABS activities and events.

How is this data used?
Data is collected for conference registration and our ability to communicate with registrants and prepare for onsite conference check-in to receive conference materials, including, but not limited to the conference USB drive.


ISPI EMEA obtains your name and email address from ISPI BABS, once you have provided your personal information in the course of registering for our ISPI EMEA conference. All personal information obtained from you via our Registration Service Provider, ISPI BABS, is handled in accordance with our policies, ISPI BABS privacy policies, and with GDPR and other applicable legislation.

Data security

We take precautions to protect your information. ISPI EMEA never collects sensitive information. When we receive personal data from our alliance partner as a result of your conference registration, we store and protect your data separately and offline.

Your contact information (email address) is protected offline. Access to the data base where that information is stored, is limited to ISPI EMEA Board members with administrative authority. Our database is stored on and accessed from computers/servers operated by service providers (vendors), who offer a secure environment for data storage and access.

These service providers have in place physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to protect the information stored by them for us. However, as effective as these measures are no security system is impenetrable. We cannot completely guarantee the security of our database, nor can we guarantee that the information you supply will not be intercepted while being transmitted to us over the Internet.


Notification of changes to privacy policy

We will review our security measures and Privacy Policy on a periodic basis, and we may modify our policies as appropriate. We may also change or update our Privacy Policy if we add new services or features. If any changes are made, we will make appropriate amendments to this policy and post them at our websites.
